I have a seen a lot of initiatives in Detroit that focus on physical and visual art as as means to creatively use resources and fight blight and also include in their mission to provide a space for local artists. I LOVE this concept and would like to see it expanded to include audio art/music. I am currently looking for a place to not only volunteer but get involved in community organization using art and music in Detroit. So hit me up, please!!!! Or I will just come down there and hope someone is there.

My sister and I were driving through Corktown taking pictures and stumbled upon Imagination Station. I then went to your Facebook page, then landed on this website -- I absolutely love your drive, ideas and most of all the artistic elements mixed within and would love to help in any way that I can. I also see that you all may be soccer lovers? We are too.

I am an architecture student at Miami University (Oxford) doing my design thesis in the Detroit/Corktown area and I would love to be a part of the volunteer effort. I'm obviously not local, but I would be interested in setting up a time to assist in any way that I can.

I am an architecture graduate student at Detroit Mercy and I am interested in trying to build a temporary installation at the Imagination Station or adjacent site as part of my thesis. Please let me know if something could be worked out. I am also available to help out with anything else.

I'm a college student at Michigan State from Dearborn. I come home on the weekends occasionally and could make it home for ones when you need me. I'm also home for Thanksgiving weekend and three weeks around Christmas time. I'm happy to help with cleanup, painting...anything you tell me to do!
